Meet Troy,
Born and raised in Michigan, Metro Detroit was a melting pot of musical influence. There was everything from Motown, gospel, blues, country, jazz, punk, and rock. I started on guitar first and then added piano a few years later. I studied with local teachers, played at church, and then started playing in bands. That's when I took off. At age 12, I wrote my first song and performed at church. By 14, I was leading the main service every Sunday. I played everywhere I could: at church, school talent shows, camps, backyards, and later on in clubs. My talent covers blues, country, gospel, modern worship, jazz, R&B, and rock. I have performed and toured the country, recording in Detroit, Nashville, and Los Angeles. I have five projects out, three of which are on Spotify and iTunes, available everywhere digitally.
